Jeff and Val Howard of Dudley Wines enjoyed the sunshine and the bumper crowds at the Penneshaw Easter market.The Dudley Wines family is toasting its successas Gourmet Traveller Wines has just announcedits annual award for the cellar door withthe best food in the region as Dudley Wines.

Jeff and Val Howard (seen here at the EasterPenneshaw market), have recently welcomed anew venue manager to join the team.

Heidi Bracko has moved back to her homestate after spending time in Queensland.

Ms Bracko brings a wealth of knowledge andmany years’ experience in the food, wine andtourism industries in South Australia andQueensland.

She gained qualifications at the Regency HotelSchool, and has managed kitchens and cellardoors, worked with the McLaren Vale WinemakersAssociation, been employed in wine specificgovernment projects, including providing industryadvice, and has been involved in industry associations,wine shows, and training delivery inwine/hospitality and tourism.

At Dudley Wines, Ms Bracko will build on itsalready successful cellar door, updating the menuto change seasonally and incorporating as muchfresh regional produce as possible.

Still on offer is a selection of their ever-populargourmet pizzas, along with a few other treats.Mr Howard said it is exciting to be recognizednationally as having great food at their cellar door.

“We are passionate about creating qualityhandcrafted wines and enjoy showcasing them,alongside some of the best food Kangaroo Islandhas to offer, at our cliff-top cellar door,” he said.
